The Dean Rockwell Scholarship

The Dean Rockwell Scholarship is provided to one member from each chapter and a graduate student, with cash prizes of up to $3000. The Dean Rockwell Scholarship is named after our founder, Olympian, and Navy Cross recipient. Winners are highly qualified and represent the foundational principles of Phi Sigma Phi as well as exude the Rockwell Spirit. We are one of the only social fraternities in America to offer a scholarship to a member at every single chapter. We are thankful for this partnership with the Phoenix 7 Foundation (501c3) and appreciate the contributions to our membership and their successes.

This month we honor the history and legacy of those who came before us, the trailblazers and the freedom fighters that helped make the world a better place for all. We beckon back to our roots as a fraternity that judges no man by the color of their skin but by the character within. We are thankful for the people of color who strive daily to make the world a better, more diverse place. #celebrateblackhistory #phisigmaphi ... See MoreSee Less

Many of our chapters are currently in the middle of a major snowstorm. We hope that all our members will stay safe and warm during the treacherous weather. While the day may look a little snowier than usual for most, tomorrow is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Dr. King was an inspirational leader in the civil rights movement and was instrumental in pushing forth the discussion of racism, inequality, and the mistreatment and injustices suffered in this country to people based on the color of their skin. Dr. King urged us all to judge others not based on the color of their skin but instead the contents of their hearts. Dr. King was tragically taken from the world much too soon, but his legacy lives on in the lives of those generations of people his sacrifices have touched. In humble commemoration of Dr. King, we ask that our brothers recognize this day by doing an act of service for others. It could be big or small, but do good on this day - and everyday. #begoodpeople #phisigmaphi #mlkday22 ... See MoreSee Less
